Age Requirement

The Hive is intended for adults only. You must be 18 years of age or older to visit this site, apply for membership, or participate in any part of The Hive. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as browser type and general usage data, to keep the site running and secure.

We use the information we collect to review applications, operate the member forums, communicate with you, and maintain the security and integrity of The Hive. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Where Your Information Is Stored

Applications and messages are received by Queen Dee through a private Gmail account. They are not stored on the public site and are not accessible to other members. Data stored in Gmail is subject to Google's security practices in addition to ours.

Member Forums and Community Areas

Content you post in the member area (forums, profile information, and similar) is visible to other members of The Hive and is governed by the Protocols of Queen Dee in addition to this policy.

Retention

Applications from men who are not accepted are deleted within 6 months. Applications from accepted members are retained for as long as the member is active, and are deleted upon request or when the member leaves.

Your Rights

Under PIPEDA, you have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to ask that it be corrected, and to withdraw consent to its use.

Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices

You may ask us to update or delete your personal information at any time by contacting us using the details below. Requests to delete your information will be honoured, except where retention is required by law, or where your content has already been shared with other members in the forum.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
